"Have faith that the intensity of the Scorpio Full Moon is part of a necessary release, not a permanent state. After the emotional storm passes, it leaves behind a clearer, more grounded sense of self, bringing peace to your mind, balance to your body, and renewal to your spirit"

This Full Moon in Scorpio marks a moment of growth, transformation, and becoming. While the watery energy of Scorpio can often bring chaos and intensity, don’t be afraid. On the other side of the door being opened lies the path to truth transformation, clarity, and purpose.

When

On May 13th AEST, we’re graced with a Full Moon in Scorpio, also known as the Flower Moon, a symbol of growth, beauty, and fresh beginnings. While Scorpio moons often stir deep and intense emotions, they also open the door to profound healing and spiritual transformation. Aligned with the water element, this moon invites us to flow with life’s ebbs and flows, reminding us that what falls will rise again

Transformation

The Flower Moon represents a period of transformation and the unfolding of intentions planted earlier in the year. Growth and evolution are part of our human nature, we're always becoming fuller, truer versions of ourselves by letting go of what no longer fits. This Scorpionic Full Moon is guiding us through that process, urging us to release what we’ve outgrown so that true transformation can take place.

Ways to break old patterns

Patterns are repeated ways of thinking, feeling, or behaving that feel familiar and automatic, like running on autopilot. They often happen without us even realizing. But with mindfulness, we’re reminded that we have more control than we think. So, what can you do when you notice yourself stuck in a pattern you're ready to move past?

- Witness you are not your patterns, you are not even your mind. By un-identifying you are pulling yourself out from the situation to help you make an objective and neutral judgement

- Take time to co-regulate your nervous system e.g. somatic exercises, intentional breath

- Tap into your intuition & ask yourself how can you respond in a way that is different & bigger to what your past self would of done

- Remember to respond and not react (there is a difference)

Affirmations

“I am not my mind, thoughts or patterns”
“I am not my past or future”
“I am learning, transforming and becoming my truest self now”
“I release old patterns, habits, thoughts that no longer serve me”
“I forgive myself for times and moments I was reacting from the wounded self”
“I see and witness my wounded self, I don’t judge her/him”
“I am compassionate towards all parts of myself”
"I am safe, and I am loved"

Breaking and unlearning old patterns takes time and patience. It won’t happen overnight, after all, you’re working to undo responses that have been shaped over years. Trust the journey, and honor yourself for showing up and doing the work. This kind of transformation isn’t easy, but it's powerful.

Ways to commune with water

Water holds deep sacred meaning in nearly every religion and spiritual tradition, representing symbolism for purifying, protection, healing and clearing

1. Visit a natural body of water whether it’s the ocean or the river. Allow the water to encompass you and clear you of all that no longer serves you from your body, mind and spirit.

2. If you’re unable to access a natural body of water, you can take a moon bath on the night of the full moon instead. As you soak, meditate or speak out loud the things you’re ready to release. When the moment feels right, let them go symbolically by draining the water.

3. Create moon water by placing a jar of water under direct moonlight. This water can be used in various ways, such as cleansing your space, drinking for its potential healing properties, or adding it to a bath for spiritual and energetic purification.
