What is your current relationship with Mother Earth? How does the natural world inspire your art/work/life?
I have so much reverence for her, her resilience, her ability to continuously regenerate and sustain not only herself, but us as well, under the most destructive and dire of circumstances. I am in awe of her. I try to do my best to honor her in all I do. This means being conscious of my purchases, my partnerships, and the ways I create and share work.

What lessons has the natural world taught you about growth and transformation?
Nature has an unobstructed relationship with release and regrowth. Nature does not cling to what must be released or what must die like humans do. Although I have many teachers from the natural world, horses have been my greatest teachers in life. Of the myriad of lessons they’ve taught me over the span of 30 years a few themes always resurface as reminders: patience, boundaries, forgiveness, and trust.

How was your journey from girlhood into womanhood? Were there any rites of passage, moments, or experiences that felt like an initiation for you?
There was a painful reckoning between the release of my girlhood self and the rebirth of my woman self. It took years. I was blindly unprepared. It was erratically beautiful and grotesque, oftentimes, in the same moments. The war between clinging to my girlhood and wanting nothing more than to bury or banish her tore me to nothingness, but it’s in those moments when you hear God.
It’s in this cocoon where it’s important to surround yourself with other women who can hold you through the metamorphosis, heal you, and breathe life back into you. Women are our initiators into womanhood, they help usher us, guide us, mother us, and mentor us through it all. And they remind us that we must always allow the girlhood to resurface. She is our anchor to softness, imagination, play, and joy.

What practices or rituals help you feel most at home in your body?
Rest - it is non negotiable. I cannot asses, check in, appreciate, or regulate myself if I am not still long enough.
Nudity - being naked is so liberating. How am I to love a thing I do not spend intimate and unobstructed time with?
Admiration - We are taught and shown how to dissect our bodies in shame, disgust, and augmentation. I refuse to do this, even in jest. I make a mindful attempt to admire my body everyday. I do not complain about her to myself or to others, I do not mock her, belittle her, or wish any parts of her away. I simply tell her, daily, all the things I love about her. Self admiration is a balm for outside validation, what you inherently know you needn’t others to confirm or deny.
Movement is prayer. It’s a way to love on my body and to allow her to love on me.

What are you currently dreaming into being?
I’m in my last stint of herbalism school, and I cannot wait to start my herbal offerings in 2026. My mother is an herbalist, and so a lot of knowledge I have is ancestral and I’ve been practicing all of my life, but it will feel great to have a technical backing. Ím also interested in the intersection of equine and woman healing: through energy, through riding, and also through herbs. Horses can teach us so much, and I would love to create containers where women feel comfortable and safe engaging with them. A published book would be nice too. Oh, and a farm… that’s the grandest dream of them all. Like all of you, I have many dreams, and I have no doubt that all will come to be in divine timing. A girl can dream it, a woman can have it.

What are your favorite HARA pieces and why?
The Stella low cut bra and Maya low waist undies have been staples for me for a while. They are soft, comfortable, and make me feel super sexy (all of this while being in partnership with the earth)
I also love love love the Mila Flares- I wear them out or in the house. Easily a staple for me to feel comfortable and sexy no matter what Ím doing.
