Pisces Full Moon: Liminal spaces of the unknown

There is something about a Pisces Full Moon that makes everything feel a little more felt. On August 28, the Full Moon arrives in Pisces as a partial lunar eclipse, bringing a heightened moment of emotional release, intuition and closure. Opposite it, the Sun sits in Virgo, creating a cosmic conversation between surrender and control and the tangible versus the intangible.

Pisces asks us to soften our grip and the boundaries between the practice world and the intuitive one. It is the sign of dreams, imagination, intuition and deep emotional sensitivity. Whereas Virgo asks us to get honest about what actually needs fixing and together they create an invitation to stop trying to perfect every part of your life and instead listen to what your inner world has been quietly nudging at you.

Practices to nurture this Pisces Eclipse

01 Take a dream journal to bed

Keep a pen and paper close to bed during the eclipse and days after, Pisces energy is deeply connected to our intuition, psyche & dreamscape making our dreams a potent space for understanding

02 Less screen time

Technology, artificial light & screens are the opposite of this Pisces energy and can interfere with the channel so it is recommended to reduce overall screen time especially before bed and during waking moments

03 Do an energetic declutter

Clean your bedroom, clear your wardrobe or remove objects connected to an old version of yourself

04 Nurture your intuition

On the evening of the Full Moon explore connecting and listening to the voice of your intuition. Light a candle, make tea, put your phone away or any external distractions & spend it in silence. This creates space for your intuition to be heard & practice surrender journaling on the following prompt, “What am I trying to control that I already know I need to surrender?”

05 Water ritual

Take a slow bath or shower and consciously imagine releasing what you’re ready to leave behind

You don’t have to force the next chapter into existence, sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is soften, listen and trust what your life is already trying to reveal
